THE COLLECTION 2017/18 #photography

The Collection is just a sample of some of my best shots while on my travels this is for the purpose of a project that I am currently working on.

I mentioned before that I am working on a new Podcast which I hope to have up and running in the next couple of months, originally this was meant to begin this month.

There was a little of a setback which affected timing however, it will be going ahead just at a later date.

I will try my best to blog a little more than I am at present but with hospital appointments etc for my husband and my writing ‘Behind Closed Doors’ things will slow up just a little.

I can be contacted at any time though so remember to get your ideas to me on topics that you would like me to Podcast about, I am waiting for a new phone number that is solely for the purpose of my Website and Social Media so bear with me a little longer.

Photography At It’s Best

Photography at it’s best: Belinda Conniss

Now I’m not knocking photographers here, in fact I take my hat off to the work of serious photographers and by serious I mean those who make a living from it.

I am by no means a serious photographer nor do I claim to be, we all know that it takes many years and hard work and dedication to perfect photography at it’s best.

Although I did for a short time do photography in high school unfortunately I didn’t go on to make a career out of it. Not like my youngest daughter who I have to say is a pretty good photographer.

Although photography is not what she chooses to do for a living, no not at all, it’s her back-up plan, because she wants to be a film director and boy is she working hard at it.

Anyway photography for me is just simply a hobby as I travel, being that I love like many others to take photos of beautiful places especially places I visit then yes, for me there are no rules.

As long as I can take a reasonably good photo and one that I can upload while blogging then all’s good, right?

Besides we don’t have photo editor for nothing, so if I need to sharpen a photo that I think could have been better then I’ll do what very many others do and turn to photo editor.

I will say this though, it’s true when they say you get what you pay for, so in respect of a good quality camera if you’re not going to fork out for top quality then your pics can be pretty average.

I use my Samsung Phone most of the time, but I do love my Canon Camera and I do, like the Nikon both brands if used properly do give some pretty amazing shots.

Last but not least I’m a lover of the Instax Camera, which is definitely my next purchase, but which one will I go for? That is a decision I’m finding hard to make.

My daughter has the Instax Mini 8 and she loves hers for those quick shots but she loves her Nikon and takes some pretty hot photos.

So when I blog at #belindatravelstheglobe it’s not going to be top quality photos included in my stories but rest assured they will be the best they can be when I’m rating Hotels, Food and Travel.
