Breast Cancer Awareness

5/25

Breast Cancer Care volunteer Liz Howley had breast surgery 11 years ago and now spreads the importance of screening and being breast aware for the over 70s. ‘My mantra is: If breast screening comes along and if you’re over 70, go and get your breasts checked, because not everyone knows you can do that.’

Every person’s breast cancer story is unique. For 25 years the pink ribbon has been a powerful symbol for millions affected by the disease. This year, we’re sharing their stories of strength and inspiration.

This is Liz’s story, share yours to inspire others today using #PinkRibbon25.
