Back to Wales
That day in the shop when I saw Lindsay and how far gone she was, I was in bits. I can’t begin to describe how terrible that made me feel. She was carrying the baby I should have had.
On the one hand, I felt like I was going to be physically sick, on the other, I wanted to walk over to Peter and punch him, and give her a slap for good measure. If she hadn’t been pregnant, I would have done for sure. That was the last time I saw Peter, although he called me when I was back in Scotland to ask if we could try again.
