Juneyao Air initially announced the Manchester-Shanghai route in 2019, but had to postpone its launch due to the pandemic. On July 1 the carrier will begin its three-times-weekly flights to Shanghai, operated by a two-class Boeing 787 Dreamliner. The flights will take place on Mondays, Fridays and Sundays.
Hainan Airlines’four-times-weekly service between Manchester and Beijing is also set to increase to daily from June to September 2024.
