Singapore Airlines will halt its flights to and from Chengdu and Chongqing in mainland China starting from March 31 due to the lack of approval from the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) for the upcoming summer and autumn seasons.
This suspension follows the resumption of flights between these cities and Singapore just five months ago. The duration of this suspension remains uncertain.
This decision coincides with an advisory from China's embassy in Singapore warning its citizens against gambling in Singapore.
