Cathay Pacific transported a total of around 1.63 million passengers last month, reflecting a notable increase of 210 percent compared to November 2022.
Meanwhile, revenue passenger kilometers experienced a remarkable year-on-year increase of 148.2 percent. The passenger load factor also saw a rise of 2.1 percentage points, reaching 80.5 percent.
Chief customer and commercial officer Lavinia Lau said that November is typically a slower month for the travel business, but there were some bright spots within the network, including India routes, which experienced strong Diwali traffic. Japan routes also saw good leisure demand for the autumn leaves.
