United Airlines will resume daily flights between San Francisco and Beijing starting in November. The US carrier will also increase daily flights from San Francisco to Shanghai from October 1, 2023.
The company said that the enhancements to United's Asia Pacific schedule are enabled by an agreement between the governments of the U.S. and China to increase flights between the two countries.
But some of these flights are still pending government approval with the Shanghai flights available now while the Beijing schedule to be updated.
