Disney launched its D23 Expo on Friday, reportedly the largest Disney fan event in the world.
The opening ceremony was held at the Anaheim Convention Center in Southern California, featuring the Disney Legends Awards Ceremony, which honors visionaries and artists who have made significant contributions to the Disney legacy.
Addressing the ceremony, Bob Chapek, CEO of The Walt Disney Company, said that for nearly a century, Disney has been entertaining and inspiring people around the world.
